The C6 Z06 is the last of the affordable naturally aspirated, 7,000-rpm American V8s — a hand-built 505 hp 7.0-litre LS7 in a lightweight aluminium frame and fixed-roof body, offered only with a six-speed manual. Built from 2006 to 2013 as the Le Mans-winning C6.R's road counterpart, it undercut European exotics on both price and lap time and has become the enthusiast's C6 to own.
