Ferrari 575 Superamerica · 2005
The 575 Superamerica is the open-top send-off for Ferrari's front-engined V12 Maranello line: the 575M's 5.75-litre 65° V12 under Fioravanti's patented Revocromico roof, a carbon-and-electrochromic-glass panel that rotates flat behind the cabin in seven seconds. Only 559 were built before the 599 replaced it, and that rotating glass roof — plus the rare six-speed manual — is what drives desirability.
The one to have: Gated 6-speed manual (1 of 43) · GTC/HGTC package · Classiche certified

Know the real one
559 built; 43 gated manuals (~33 LHD) — the VIN does not distinguish F1 from 6MT; only Classiche/build docs prove a gate
GTC/HGTC handling package (~$22k new: carbon-ceramic brakes, sharper chassis) is the most desirable option
Revocromico rotating electrochromic roof: tint function is commonly inoperative — test every stage
MSRP $315k (2005)
