Porsche 911 GT2 (997.1) · 2008–2009

The 997.1 GT2 (2007-2009) is the range-topping rear-drive 911: a 3.6-litre twin-turbo flat-six with variable-turbine-geometry (VTG) turbochargers making 523 hp, driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual with no all-wheel drive and no PDK. With a 204 mph top speed it was among the fastest 911s of its era, and it preceded the more extreme 997.2 GT2 RS.
